Pricing

What a search, a fetch and a monitor cost, and how you pay for them with prepaid credit.

You pay for each provider call that Telem makes for you, at the provider’s own published price, with no markup. The money comes from your organization’s prepaid credit.

  • Your first sign-in adds $20 of credit, in US dollars.
  • To add more, open Billing in the console and pay by card. The minimum is $5. Only organization admins can add credit.
  • Billing also shows your balance, your usage, each charge and your receipts.
  • Each provider that answers. A search that runs on three providers is three charges. A search with no provider list runs on all the default providers. To pay less, name the providers in providers.include, or turn on auto-routing, which often runs a query on fewer providers.
  • A search with no results. The provider bills it, so Telem does too.
  • Each URL that a fetch reads, at the price of the provider that read it.

A provider call that fails, with an error or a timeout, is free.

Each provider has its own price, by the search, the page or the credit. The console shows the charge for each call. The platform providers are not in these tables: their billing units are on Supported platforms.
